Barbara Ransom is a writer, teacher, and wine enthusiast living in Topanga, California. She grew up in Seattle and when she moved to the Los Angeles area the first thing she bought for her apartment was art. She ended up sleeping on a borrowed couch, but was happy to have her walls covered in creative and inspired paintings.
She is still discovering all that Los Angeles has to offer and enjoys spending time at the street fairs, art walks, and cultural events where creative people gather. She is also a regular contributor to the modern family website www.wearegoodkin.com
