A World of the Creative
Cammeron Alekzandra Batanides has been creating since the age of two. Originally from Charlotte, NC, she works predominately in water colors, acrylics and charcoal. Currently residing in Wilmington, NC, her works have been featured in multiple publications across the United States. She is a published children’s book author and illustrator, releasing two books in an ever growing series, Meet Panda and Panda’s First Christmas.
Aside from works on paper, canvas and wood, Batanides has done seven public and private murals in the downtown Wilmington area. Her works can be found in private collections nationwide. Each piece of artwork by Batanides is an exclusive original as she does not make reproductions or prints. Aside from visual arts, Batanides is a published art and music writer whose works have been printed in The Beat, The Starving Artist, and ArtSync Magazines. She was the first arts columnist for The Beat Magazine.
Her working series, A World of the Creative, is currently on display at the Los Angeles Fine Arts Building and Expose: New Orleans Jazz Festival to include a 10′x20′ billboard featuring Just Outside the City as well as an exhibit at Exagere Gallery.
