Goeritz explores “the distinction between direct experience and the idea of an experience through painting and sculpture. Combining painting and sculpture to form installations that speak to an overall holistic perspective, while their individual components tell different stories entirely.”
Cirrus Gallery presents a Cosmic Encounter with the direction of new technology, a life beyond Earth has become all the more foreseeable. While some our curiosities have been fulfilled by these developments, the vastness and depth of the solar system will continue to intrigue. A Cosmic Encounter explores this continued fascination with space, and the poetics and mystique of its foreboding immensity.
