The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will host the first NFL game in over two decades, when the Dallas Cowboys face the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, August 13. The exhibition game will air
on ESPN, the event is sure to draw attention nationwide.

It will be a sea of fans starved for NFL football; those in attendance will be a part of Los Angeles history when the Rams take the field to RAM-demonium!

Meanwhile down the street in Oxnard, the Dallas Cowboys,’Americas Team’, continued their annual training camp in the sleepy ocean town. The Cowboys have trained in Oxnard for the past 11 seasons, unfortunately, a brand new complex in Frisco, Texas will be their new facility making this the final time they will visit Oxnard.

On the gorgeous River Ridge fields, the Dallas squad prepared for the upcoming year and their matchup against the Rams. On Sunday, August 7th, the Cowboys played their intra-squad”Blue vs. White” scrimmage, where fans roared for Wide Receiver Dez Bryant, Tight End Jason Written and Quarterback Tony Romo.

Romo was the subject of ridicule on the internet and Twitter after an apparent weight gain. Although he looked slightly larger, it is not alarming and he certainly wasn’t out of shape. He is returning from a broken collar bone, Romo looked crisp in limited action.

One of the bright spots heading into this season is rookie Running Back Ezekiel Elliott, the All-American from Ohio State. He is a perfect balance of speed and power, quickly adapting to the Cowboys offense.

The exhibition game will be a match good friends Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, and Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroekne. Jones was instrumental in bringing the Rams back home as he showed the NFL why it was good for the league financially to allow the Rams to return to L.A.

The Rams players were pleased and a bit surprised by the overwhelming hero’s welcome they received. Over 10,000 fans turned out for the opening day of training camp, which is being held at U.C. Irvine.

Both die-hard fans and brand new fans, some who weren’t even born when the Rams last played in L.A. came out to see the action. The two names everyone clamored to see was Jared Goff and Todd Gurley. Goff is a rookie Quarterback out of Cal, who was taken NO. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. While Gurley is a young Running Back fresh off a1,000 rushing yards last season.

The Rams have sold more than 70,000 season tickets, and have made 10,000 more single-game tickets available for their home games. To purchase tickets, visit: www.ticketmaster.com
